In the spring/summer issue of Irish Interiors (sister magazine to Munster Interiors), we featured a warmly elegant house in Mahon that had been painstakingly restored by its owners Donna and John after being gutted by fire. Interior designer Terry O’Driscoll was impressed by the melding of modern and traditional touches throughout the home and fell in love with the curvilinear kitchen designed and installed by Woodlands Kitchens.
“Bespoke and beautifully handcrafted, the kitchen is a wonderful example of workmanship at its finest. The solid ash panelled doors painted in sage are strikingly offset with a mix of antique steel and crystal handles. A vertical stainless steel wine rack injects a trendy touch, while a Belfast sink sits comfortably among the high spec Kuppersbusch appliances,” writes Terry in the spring/summer issue.
